Creating a consistent and vibrant range of brand touchpoints for a local charity
Brand Design / Marketing Literature & Campaigns
Age UK Suffolk is a local, independent charity. They improve the lives of elderly and vulnerable people in our community through a range of vital services.
The charity runs day care groups, provides a household help service, befriending initiatives and offers free consultations through a benefits advice & information service.
Fundraising campaigns, volunteers and the Community Links scheme raise awareness and help fund the charity’s work.
To create a more coherent, flexible and versatile brand identity system for Age UK Suffolk we have designed a range of icons in addition to their pre-existing logo and expansive colour palette. We have also built a library of stock imagery for use across all their communication channels.
By allocating an icon, image and colour to each of their services we have created a visual guide to the charity’s services across all their communication channels.
We have developed consistent layouts for Age UK’s brand touch points to highlight and advertise their services.
Each year we produce a service & product guide booklet, postcards, posters and roller banners to advertise all their services. For the last few years we have also designed the charity’s annual review.
In addition to Age UK’s regular marketing literature we also help create and design graphics, illustrations and other artwork for one-off events and campaigns, such as the cover for their glossy lifestyle magazine Suffolk Living and illustrations for the Big Chinwag. Most recently we have created the artwork for the Good Day Call campaign in response to the Covid-19 crisis.
Working with Brand Up has been and is a complete pleasure. Franzi has been working with us for some time now and has made it her business to find out and understand about the work that we do, the services that we provide, and why it is important – this is reflected in the care and consideration that is put into her concept works for us.
Franzi has a unique ability to take the random ideas that are in my mind, decipher them and make them into reality and has helped us to create a clear, concise, bright visual identity that is now reflected in all of our materials and digital marketing.
